4.5.1 Start the PaperStream Installation Process

To begin installing PaperStream Software:

1. Select ‘Installation (Recommended)’.

2. Select ‘Owner’ and click ‘Continue’.

3. Product Registration is up to individual or agency selection. This process outlined in this section does not include all the steps for Produce Registration.

4. Turn verify the scanner is ‘off’ before clicking ‘Next’ to continue.

5. Click ‘Next’ to continue the installation process.

6. Click the box to accept the terms of the license agreement and then click ‘Install’.

7. The installation process screen should appear.

8. Click ‘Finish’ to complete the installation process and restart the computer.

4.5.2 Update the ISIS Driver Bundle

After downloading the update driver from the Fujitsu website and running the self extraction process you should see and icon ‘Disk1’ on the desktop.

1. Open the folder ‘Disk1’ and execute the Setup.exe.

2. Turn verify the scanner is ‘off’ before clicking ‘Next’ to continue.

3. Click ‘Next’ to continue the installation process.

4. Click the box to accept the terms of the license agreement and then click ‘Install’.

5. The installation process screen should appear.

6. Click ‘Finish’ to complete the installation process.

4.5.3 Configure PaperStream Scan Source

1. Go to Control Panel and select KSM-32.

2. De-select ‘VRS-certified scanners’ and ‘Scanners with configured sources’. Be certain that under ‘Scanners by manufacturer’ ‘All’ is selected.

3. Click on ‘Refresh List’.

4. Search the refreshed list for ‘PaperStream_IP’.

5. Within the PaperStream group select your model of scanner.

6. Click on ‘Set as Default’.

7. Click on ‘Configure Sources…’.

8. Select ‘PaperStream (your model) without SVRS with AIPE’.

9. Click on ‘Set Device Default Source’.

10. Click on ‘Close’ in the ‘Configure Sources’ dialogue box.

11. Click on ‘Close’ in the ‘Scanner Configuration Utility’ dialogue box.

4.5.4 Configure Scanner Properties

1. Click ‘Scan’ & ‘Properties’.

2. Click ‘Advanced’.

3. Click ‘More’.

4. Click on the button.
